A Summary Report of “Red Hat Training Program and Certification” at Complete Open Source Solution, Hyderabad

As a part of Red Hat Academy program, Complete Open Source Solution (COSS), Red Hat institute, Hyderabad has conducted 15 days training program on two platform certifications of Red Hat namely ‘Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)’ and ‘Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)’during 07th May, 2018 to 23rd May, 2018. The training program emphasized on Red Hat Linux system administration-I (RH124), system administration-II (RH134) and system administration-III (RH254) course. These courses comprised of topics like basics of Linux, advanced Linux commands, manage scheduled jobs, Control firewalling, secure Linux system, configure link aggregation and bridging, Control network port security, Manage DNS for servers etc.


Linux is open source and highly demanding platform to work with in today’s technological era. The key purpose of this program was to train faculties for Red Hat Linux System Administration Certification, so they can pour the knowledge to students for certification and make students industry ready.


Mr. Shrinivas from Complete Open Source Solution, Red Hat institute, Hyderabad was the instructor for the training program. He is an expert Red Hat Certified Trainer. In lieu of total theory, sessions were made interesting using hands-on as well as practical.


Two faculties of CE/IT/MCA/BCA department, Prof. Gaurav Bhatt and Prof. Kapildev Naina have undergone the training program with the sheer engagement. Apart from training program, both faculties appeared for Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) and cleared the exam securing full marks. Both have represented RK University very well.
