6 Days AICTE sponsored STTP on “Applications of Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning” by RK University

Department of Computer Engineering, School of Engineering, RK University has organized a 6 days Short Term Training Program(STTP) on "Applications of Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning" during 21st– 26th June 2021 sponsored by AICTE under the aegis of Centre of Professional Development (CPD), RK University.

This STTP brought together a diverse community of faculties, industrialists and researchers in a quest for the field of Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning. The resource persons of the programme were from reputed institutes like Sardar Patel University, MS University, Vishwakarma Government Engineering College, St. Francis Institute of Technology, University of Mumbai, Vardhaman College of Engineering, Hyderabad, etc. A total of 50+ participants including faculties, industrialists and research scholars were also present.

The programme was inaugurated on 21st June 2021, in presence of honorable chief guest Dr. Paresh Virparia, Professor, Sardar Patel University and Dr. Jigar Trivedi from MS University; Dr. Amit M. Lathigara, Director, School of Engineering; Dr. Ashwin Raiyani, Head of Department – CE/IT; and Dr. Paresh Tanna, STTP course coordinator and all the participants were also present during the inauguration of STTP.

During these 6 days STTP, all the experts have put equal weightage on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning applications. All the experts have engaged participants to work with different hands-on sessions on real time applications of AI & ML and design of various machine learning & deep learning models for different applications.

Dr.Amit Lathigara, Director, School of Engineering gave his wishes to all the participants and congratulated the Department of Computer Engineering for their hard work and dedication. Dr. Ashwin Raiyani, Head of Computer Engineering Department, thanked the whole team without which this STTP would not have been a grand success.
