Central Library, School of Engineering, RK University celebrated "National Library Week – 2025" with great enthusiasm, learning spirit, and active participation. The week aimed to strengthen reading culture, promote love for books, increase the use of reference materials, and establish the library as a true center of knowledge.
The celebration began on 14th November with an inspiring Book Talk on the Bhagavad Gita, where key lessons from Arjuna’s life were discussed with students and faculty. A special initiative, “Read Together, Think Together” – Silent Reading Session, witnessed participation from a large number of students. The reflection activity that followed encouraged students to share how reading helps shape their personality and thinking.
From 17th to 19th November organized "Book Fair". Showcased hundreds of books across genres, including new arrivals, best-sellers, and reference titles. With 20%–60% discounts, the event drew 5000+ visitors, resulting in the sale of 3500+ books. The ISKCON stall featuring the Bhagavad Gita and other spiritual texts received an excellent response. This first-ever large-scale book fair at the university generated remarkable excitement and highlighted that—even in the digital age—there remains a strong and vibrant reading community.
